Physical Education and Sport

Build upon your educational foundation with a graduate degree in one of the physical education and sport programs—specializing in sports administration, coaching, sport, or exercise psychology.

From hands-on practicum experiences to online coursework, our students benefit from a range of engaging learning environments that support students in various stages of life. Challenging and collaborative curricula prepare our graduates to excel in a variety of sport and physical education settings. We offer master of arts and master of science degrees and hope you choose to be a part of our team.

Our Athletic Coaching Education program encourages students to improve their personal coaching skills and styles as well as assess and investigate the field of coaching as a whole.

The graduate specialization in sport administration prepares graduates for employment in a variety of areas within the sport industry. Curricula for both the MA and MS start with a core of seven comprehensive courses that provide you with a broad understanding of ethics and legal issues, marketing, financial principles, and personnel management.

Sport and exercise psychology heightens your understanding of the psychological principles related to sport and motor performance. Collaborative classroom, research, and practicum experiences expose you to the theoretical and practical aspects of the field.
