Graduate Assistantships

Graduate Assistantships are available! If you are interested in obtaining an assistantship within the School of Physical Education, please contact Amy Sheffer. Graduate Assistants within the School are asked to work 20 hours per week, and they receive a partial tuition waiver during the academic year and following summer, as well as a stipend (approximately $10,000).  Students will be responsible for other fees not covered by the waiver each semester.

Graduate Assistants typically have teaching responsibilities for 1-3 activity sections of PFW Walking classes totaling five hours per week, in combination with 15 hours of assisting in research with an assigned faculty member each week.  Some GAs may be assigned to only do research with a designated faculty member for the full 20 hours.

If you are interested in other assistantships available at Ball State, please visit the Cardinal Career Link webpage or contact the specific department.
