Admission Information
Applying to Ball State University’s Sport and Exercise Psychology graduate program is easy.
1. Take the GRE
2. Apply to Ball State University’s Graduate School by following this link: Graduate School application form
- Prospective students must have completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75 on a scale of 4.0
- Send an official copy of your transcript and GRE scores to the Graduate School at the following address:

3. Apply to the School of Physical Education, Sport, and Exercise Science by following this link: Sport and Physical Education application form.
4. Compose a statement of purpose relating how this degree will impact your career goals.
5. Produce a resume
6. Obtain three letters of recommendations
7. Send the statement of purpose, resume, and letters of recommendations to the following address:

Applications are due no later than February 1. Upon review, some students may be asked to complete a phone interview. Please contact us if you wish to visit the campus and meet with faculty and students.
