You must pay at the beginning of your stay in the parking garage.
You may also purchase a visitors parking permit online if you are a member of the general public or not affiliated with Ball State. A permit costs $5 per day and may be purchased online by setting up a guest account with a valid email address. Parking is permitted only in the yellow and green marked lots on campus and does not allow for parking at a meter or in the paid areas of the garages.
For our evening public programs, the Ball State Parking Map has a complete list of parking areas and restrictions for parking on campus after 5:00 P.M. The Cooper Science Complex is building 78 located at G4 on the print map.

Driving to Ball State University Campus
The planetarium is located across McKinley Avenue, west of the parking garage, along Riverside Avenue, at:

The parking lot located directly west of the planetarium should not be used for school bus drop off or pick up under any circumstances. School buses may drop off students in the designated area near the Riverside entrance to the Fine Arts Building, east of the planetarium. Parking is prohibited in this area, as it is reserved for drop off and pick up only.
To reach the planetarium by local public transportation, take the MITS Ball State-Riverside Route 14. The bus stops on Riverside Avenue, across the street from the planetarium.
