The fields of physiology and health science provide a wide variety of career paths in many different areas. As a service to both our students and alumni, below is a list of current job opportunities noted to our department.

Survey Administrator Indiana State Department of Health

The Indiana State Department of Health is currently seeking individuals to administer the Indiana Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) in approximately 50 Indiana high schools. The YRBS is part of a nationwide surveying effort led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to monitor students’ health risks and behaviors in six categories: weight management and dietary behaviors, physical activity, injury and violence, tobacco use, alcohol and other drug use, and sexual behavior.

As a survey administrator, you will be responsible for driving to Indiana high schools, administering the YRBS, and ensuring that all survey protocols are followed. To become an administrator, you will be required to participate in a brief training (which will also be made available on-line). Survey administrators will be paid a stipend and reimbursed for mileage.

If you are interested in becoming a YRBS survey administrator, please contact Katie Ferguson  at (317) 234-6158.

If you have a position that you would like to include here, please contact our department.
