Our faculty has a combined experience of over 300 years and a diverse background of research. Some faculty interests include state legislative politics, voting behavior and elections, international relations, political institutions, and comparative politics.
In addition to our research, each year the Bowen Center for Public Affairs
and the Department of Political Science conduct the Hoosier Survey. The survey asks Indiana residents to report their top priorities for the upcoming Indiana legislature session.
After the data is collected, the results are delivered to every member of the Indiana General Assembly at the beginning of the calendar year so that lawmakers can gauge public views about issues they are likely to face in the coming session.
