Option 1 EdD Requirements
Required Coursework Option 1
Our program will prepare you to be a science education leader in the K-12 setting or to be a university science educator through approximately equal components of education and science with supporting work in additional science fields.
Option1 requires 90 graduate hours distributed in the following manner:
Science – 30 hours in two or more fields. You will select a science major field of study from:
Science Education – 18 hours.

Science XXX – Science courses may be repeated for additional credit of 3 hours
Research Methodologies – 17 hours. These courses consist of Design, Quantitative, Qualitative and Advanced courses.
