Audiology Clinic
The Ball State University Audiology Clinic, operated by the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology, serves the community's hearing health care needs while providing students with opportunities for clinical experience.
Services
The clinic offers the following comprehensive audiology services, usually conducted by Ball State students under faculty supervision.
- hearing evaluations for all ages
- hearing aid counseling, fitting, and repair
- assistive listening device counseling and demonstration
- central auditory processing evaluations
- FM auditory trainer counseling, fitting, and repair
- earplugs (as for swimming or for hearing protection related to noise exposure)
- industrial hearing conservation services

Clinic Hours and Scheduling
Appointments are required.
To schedule appointments, refer a patient, or obtain additional information, call the main clinic office at 765-285-8160. Our clinic secretary schedules appointments for both the Audiology and the Speech Language Pathology clinics.
Clinic hours correspond to university hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the summer (mid-May through mid-August) our hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. If Ball State University is on a break or closed, then our clinics may be closed or operating with a limited schedule.
Payment
The charge for services varies depending on the service offered. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered.
