teaching student with school children

Student teaching is a semester-long experience in which you’ll take the knowledge, performance, and dispositions you learn in Ball State classrooms and integrate it with a professional setting. You’ll work under the mentorship of a classroom teacher and the supervision of university personnel.

While student teaching presents learning opportunities, it also embodies the added responsibility of teaching and advising P-12 students.

You can student teach in Indiana, or choose from one of our national or international opportunities. (Certain restrictions apply.)
