The Teacher Educator is published by Routledge, an international leader in education publishing and a member of the Taylor & Francis Group. Routledge began publication of The Teacher Educator in 2008.

The Teacher Educator joined the family of prestigious Routledge education journals that seek to influence the course of academic thought in education and educational research through scholarship and international discussion.
