To enhance your training, you are strongly encouraged to become a student member of the Indiana School Counseling Association (ISCA) or the American School Counseling Association (ASCA).

As a school counselor trainee, you are also encouraged to attend local school board meetings and advocate for the roles and responsibilities of school counselors.
