Human Development and Learning Certificate

Most licensed teachers have taken a course or two in learning and development, but a graduate certificate in this area provides a much-needed boost in working with parents and children.

This 15-credit-hour program will benefit you even if you don’t work in education. Professionals in health care, criminal justice, social work, and countless other fields need to understand the people they serve—physically, socially, cognitively, and emotionally.

You may also apply these courses to a master’s degree in educational psychology, and they count as electives in other master’s degree programs throughout the university.

Courses You Will Take

  • EDPS 600 - Advanced Educational Psychology
  • EDPS 606 - Learning and Motivation
  • EDPS 627 - Child Development
  • EDPS 628 - Adolescent Development
  • EDPS 629 - Adult Development

This certificate is offered 100 percent online.
