The master of science (MS) in educational psychology is a 33-credit-hour program offered only on the Ball State University campus. The course work itself can be completed in 18 months. Because the MS requires a 6-credit-hour master’s thesis, the time needed to complete the entire program may vary.

Twenty-four of the 33 required credit hours cover foundational content in educational psychology (learning, human development, tests and measurement, research methodology, statistics).  A 3-credit-hour elective, not applied to other requirements, rounds out the coursework. The remaining 6 credits hours are earned through the completion of the master’s thesis that you design to meet your specific professional needs.
