Neuropsychology Lab

The Neuropsychology Laboratory was established in 1984 as a research and teaching facility of the Department of Educational Psychology. The laboratory also serves the larger community by assessment of, and remedial planning for, people with neurologic disorders. Research concerns an understanding of brain mechanisms responsible for simple and complex patterns of mental functioning. The Neuropsychology Laboratory provides support for neuropschology courses offered through the Department of Educational Psychology's cognate specialization in neuropsychology. The laboratory is also a site for internships in the school psychology doctoral program. This training takes the form of service to the community- staff members see patients referred by medical practitioners, public schools, and other agencies.
