The development of competency in neuropsychology requires the systematic study of a core of courses (or approved equivalents). The following are required of all students:
EDPSY 669 - Concepts in Devlopmental Neuropsycholinguistics. EDPSY 652 - Introduction to Neuropsychology. EDPSY 656 - Child Neuropsychology. EDPSY 752 - Practicum in Neuropsychological Assessment. EDPSY 754 - Seminar in Neuropsychology.
The student, together with his/her cognate chairperson, will be encouraged to select courses from the following list to complete the cognate (15 or 24 semester hours).

PSYSC 668 - Physiological Psychology. CPSY 657 - Objective Personality Appraisal. ANAT 606 - Medical Neuroanatomy.
