Gilbert C. Park is an associate professor of Social Foundations of Education and Multicultural Education. He received a Ph.D. in Educational Policy studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests are concerned with school experiences of students of color with a focus on Asian Americans, potential of multicultural education as a tool for advancing social justice, the Americanization process of immigrant students, and the role of schooling in these areas.
