Linda is co-editor of the Handbook of Professional Development in Education: Successful Models and Practices, PreK-12. In this handbook, scholars from across different fields of education share current knowledge on teacher professional development (PD) and describe effective, innovative practices used in today’s schools.  Further, PD is examined in relationship to adult learning theory, school leadership, district and state policy, the growth of professional learning communities, and the Common Core Standards. The book is meant to be used by educators, researchers, graduate students and policymakers.
