Student Council for Exceptional Children

The Student Council for Exceptional Children is a student chapter of the international organization. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in children and adults with special needs. The Department of Special Education hosts this student chapter. The organization is dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities -- students with disabilities, deaf, and/or gifted.

Student Education Association

This is the student chapter of the National Education Association, which is also affiliated with the Indiana State Teacher's Association as well as the Indiana Student Education Association. We welcome majors in all fields of education to join our professional organization.

Education in Action (EIA)

This organization aims to promote unity and fellowship among its members and Ball State Teachers College. EIA also provides instructional resource material that members find useful in methods classes, participation experiences, student teaching, and in their future careers in the teaching profession.
