Leadership Student Organizations

The Student Advisory Council (SAC) is a group of students who advises the TCOM Department faculty about student interests and concerns. It also facilitates student involvement in the TCOM Super Party and other activities.

National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) is an organization of journalists, students and media-related professionals that provides quality programs and services to and advocates on behalf of black journalists worldwide. Founded by 44 men and women on December 12, 1975, in Washington, D.C., NABJ is the largest organization of journalists of color in the nation. Many of NABJ's 3,300 members also belong to professional and student chapters that serve black journalists nationwide.

Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) -- RTDNA formed a chapter at Ball State in the fall of 1990. RTDNA is the world’s largest organization for broadcast and electronic journalists.
