Radio Student Organizations

WCRD-FM is a student run, FCC-licensed radio station that broadcasts at 91.3 on the FM dial, simulcasts on CardinalVision 57, and streams from www.wcrd.net. In August 2006, WCRD switched to an all-request, “College Radio-on-Demand” format. The WCRD sports team broadcasts the Ball State football, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's volleyball, baseball and softball, as well as various high school sports (more than 60 athletic contests) from around Delaware County.

 

IPR/WBST 92.1 FM — Indiana Public Radio is a university-owned, award-winning News & Classical Music National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate. WBST gives student volunteers and part-time employees experience in news, promotion, marketing, graphics, on-air announcing, and board operations. 

Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) -- RTDNA formed a chapter at Ball State in the fall of 1990. RTDNA is the world’s largest organization for broadcast and electronic journalists.
