Dear friend and patron of the arts:

On behalf of Ball State University's Department of Theatre and Dance, I am delighted to invite you to participate in our Show Sponsorship Program. When you sponsor a show through our Show Sponsorship Program, you are supporting our incredibly talented and deserving theatre and dance majors with scholarships.

Theatre and Dance scholarships create experiential learning opportunities and even more artistic achievements for the students. Scholarships are awarded based on merit, class work, departmental participation, and grade point average. Scholarships lessen the load of tuition and fees, and open the door to even more creative and collaborative learning experiences.

Along with producing a diverse series of shows, Department of Theatre and Dance students have opportunities to study abroad as well as to participate in Showcases in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. All of these opportunities are possible for our students because of the generous support of donors like you.

Thanks to our show sponsors last year, we raised almost $28,000 resulting in 10 scholarships for 46 total scholarships awarded. We hope increase the size of our scholarship awards by raising $30,000 this year. With you help, we'll be able to achiever this goal for our students.

There are giving levels to fit everyone's budget in the Show Sponsorship Program:

• $100 - $299 Ensemble Level
• $300 - $499 Producer Level
• $500 - $999 Director's Circle
• $1,000 Benefactor Level

Show sponsors are recognized for every level of giving in the program of the production of their choice. Plus, Benefactor level show sponsors will receive invitations for special Department of Theatre and Dance events.
