B.F.A. Acting Curriculum

Ball State University's B.F.A. Acting option requires 85 credit hours. After completing these courses, students may choose two or three courses in advanced performance areas as determined by individual career goals. The lowest acceptable grade in a course for credit toward a mojor or minor in Theatre and Dance is C. Any student receiving a C- or lower must retake the course in order to receive credit towards a major or minor in the department. The repetition of a course does not remove the previous grades from the student’s official academic record. The last grade in a course will be used in computing the student’s grade-point average.
