Theatre Education

B.A./B.S. Theatre Education

The Theatre Education Major is intended for students wanting to earn an Indiana secondary education teacher's license. The major provides a broad foundation in performance, theatre design and technology, and theatre history to prepare the future teacher for all areas of a high school drama curriculum and production program. All theatre students also complete a strong core of liberal arts courses.

Theatre Education faculty have outstanding credentials in the professional world - as artists, theatre educators, and administrators. This professional connectedness means that students have unique access to intensive learning opportunities in and out of the classroom.
