This year's showcase, for the tenth consecutive year, is under the direction of Bill Osetek, Artistic Director of Drury Lane Oakbrook Theatre. Musical direction is by Jodi Cotton, and the showcase acting coaches are Dee Dee Batteast, Eva Patton, and Wendy Saver.
Home to internationally recognized theatres such as Steppenwolf, Goodman, and Second City plus innumerable storefront theatres, commercial and voiceover work, and the occasional film or television series, Chicago is a viable option for young actors eager to begin a career in acting.
