Ball State's fifteenth annual New York Showcase provides a unique opportunity for casting agents, directors, and other theatre professionals to see graduating seniors from the Department of Theatre and Dance.

This year's showcase is under the artistic consultation of New York casting director Rachel Hoffman as well as Bill Jenkins, Michael Elliott, Dee Dee Batteast, and Peter Zapp which features some of the best young acting and musical theatre talent of 2016.

About Our Program
Ball State University is home to one of the nation's premier theatre and dance programs, with more than 400 majors specializing in acting, musical theatre, dance, design and technology, theatre education, production (directing and stage management), and theatrical studies.

Recent graduates have worked on Broadway (Aladdin, Chicago, Macbeth), in National Tours (Wicked, Motown, Evita), on prime-time television (Person of Interest, Elementary, Modern Family, The Good Wife, Falling Skies), in feature films (Non-Stop, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and the upcoming The Last Five Years) and in nationally televised commercials. In October, Ball State's original musical The Circus In Winter was staged at the Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut.
