Rebecca Pappas makes dance that addresses the body as an archive for personal and social memory. Her choreography has toured nationally and internationally, and she has received residencies from Yaddo and Djerassi, and funding from the Mellon Foundation, the Zellerbach Family Foundation, The Clorox Foundation, and Choreographers in Mentorship Exchange (CHIME). In Fall of 2015 she is choreographing a series of public parades as part of Big Car’s large scale public art project SPARK: Monument Circle. She currently grows art and ideas in Los Angeles, CA and Indianapolis, IN. www.pappasanddancers.com
