Sample Exam with Commentary

There is not one, single way to write a passing Writing Proficiency Exam because there are many ways that exam writers can structure their responses so that they meet the grading criteria.

However, it can be useful to see an exam which—though not perfect—can be considered “Passing” according to the WPP Grading Criteria.

The sample exam we have posted to ilocker is far from perfect, but it was considered “Passing” or “Proficient” by the Writing Proficiency Program readers.
