This program is designed to prepare middle school, junior high, and secondary teachers in health education who are (a) professionally knowledgeable, (b) effective decision-makers, (c) technically proficient, (d) experientially broad, (e) human relations oriented, (f) socially aware, and (g) future oriented. Coursework and related experiences provide opportunities to relate principles and theories to actual practice in a variety of classrooms and schools. The program is located in the Department of Physiology and Health Science. The introductory course for this program is EDSEC 150.
