Educational Technology
Welcome to EDTEC! Educational technology is the design and application of computing, communications, information, and media to enhance teaching and learning. The undergraduate EDTEC programs are part of a nationally-recognized teacher education program that emphasizes curricular integration of learning technologies. Students and faculty in our graduate programs conduct research that applies educational technology to PreK-12 classrooms and teacher education.
We also offer a Graduate Level Certificate in Computer Education for those who are in fields outside of the K-12 classroom. The Graduate Certificate in Computer Education will develop technological knowledge, skills and dispositions for educators to teach computer education courses and to become teacher-leaders with technology in the instructional contexts where they teach.
