Ball State University Alumni may check out General Collection books and government publications at the Main Circulation/Reserves Counter on the first floor of Bracken Library and General Collection books and videos in the Architecture Library and Science-Health Science Library. Selected items, including sound recordings and videos, are available for an abbreviated circulation period in the Music Collection and the Educational Resources Collections.

Ball State University graduates may obtain a free Alumni Card at the Registrar's Office. Alumni Card users may request e-mail notification of upcoming due dates and a PIN to access CardCat's My Account.

Not all materials may be checked out with the Alumni Card, yet privileges may include in-room use in some instances; for more information, ask at any service point or refer to the University Libraries' Borrowing Privileges.

Overdue, lost, or damaged materials are subject to the Fine and Cost Policy (PDF).  Copies of this policy are available at all circulation counters and the Library Information rack in the main lobby of Bracken Library.
