Antioch Baptist Church
Members of Antioch Baptist Church, organized in 1905, move the original building’s cornerstone for a new structure at 1700 E. Butler Street in Whitely.

Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church at 1018 E. Jackson
Organized in 1868, Bethel A.M.E. Church was the first African American church in Muncie. The brick church and parsonage were built in 1914 and replaced by a new structure on the same site in the early 1980s.
