Serials Cataloging

Serials Cataloging creates and maintains bibliographic and holdings records for classified serials and periodicals in all formats. This includes such resources as scholarly journals, current magazines and newspapers, as well as annual reports, directories and yearbooks, newsletters, and legal and statistical publications.

This section is also responsible for bibliographic maintenance of the Serials Solutions database, which provides online access to a wide variety of electronic journals to assist students, faculty, and staff with their research needs. In addition, Serials Cataloging creates and maintains bibliographic records for publication of the federal government, in all formats.
