Data

Accurate data is the focal point of any GIS project. The University Libraries’ GIS Research and Map Collection (GRMC) strives to offer access to accurate and up-to-date datasets for the Ball State community.

In-house Data

The GRMC houses the newest Delaware County GIS datasets and an abbreviated 2009 Henry County GIS dataset. These datasets are made available by local counties and can be used only for academic pursuits by BSU faculty, staff and students. The GRMC also offers access to national, state and world GIS datasets supplied by ESRI. For instruction on how to access this data, please view our Accessing GIS Data on the University Libaries' GIS Data Server tutorial.
