GIS Research Area Equipment

Hardware:

The GIS Research Area is comprised of nearly 1,200 square feet equipped with 28 high-end Lenovo ThinkCentre N58p computers.

Instruction Equipment:

Two LG 55-inch widescreen LED monitors and an ELMO projector are connected to an instructor station, facilitating the use of the equipment for workshops and classes.

Ball State faculty and staff who require GIS and other related geospatial software for instructional purposes can reserve this area. The space is also available for use by students and faculty for group and individual learning. To reserve the GIS Research Area for group projects fill out the Classroom Reservation Form, or contact GRMC staff.

Plotting and Laminating:

Plotting and laminating services are available to those in the Ball State community.
The following equipment is available:
• HP Z6200ps 42-inch Large Format Color Plotter
• HP 4500ps 42-inch Large Format Color Plotter
• HP Small Format black and white Laser Printer
• 40" and 12" laminators
