GIS Software
ESRI SITE LICENSE
Ball State University particpates in an Educational Site License Program with ESRI, the global leader in GIS software. BSU faculty and staff have free access to selected ESRI software products for teaching, research, and adminstration purposes.
The site license includes the following software. For a list of use constraints for each product see the ESRI Site License Overview.
- ArcGIS Desktop (and extensions including Business Analyst Premium)
- ArcPad
- ArcGIS Server
- ArcGIS Developer Network
- Business Analyst Online
- Community Analyst
Student 1-year trial versions of the ArcGIS Desktop software are available to any Ball State University student currently enrolled in a GIS class or working on a GIS research project. Faculty may request student trial versions directly from ESRI.
