Using CardCat for Cartographic Searches

Searching for Maps and Atlases in CardCat:

Maps can be searched in CardCat, but check with the staff of the GIS Research and Map Collection (GRMC) for complete coverage. Some maps in the Collection are currently not cataloged in CardCat but can be easily accessed in the GRMC. Plus the Collection may contain many maps that are related to research topics that may not appear in a CardCat search. This guide provides information about searching CardCat for cartographic resources.

 
The GRMC also may be able to use interlibrary loan from other libraries to locate other maps and atlases needed for research.
