Using Maps in the Classroom
The GIS Research and Map Collection (GRMC) is redefining the use of maps and other cartographic resources in the classroom. The GRMC provides custom instructional sessions and individualized research assistance in the use of cartographic resources for students, faculty, and community endeavors.
The GRMC can research materials and provide custom lesson plans and activities using maps for the K-12 classroom and for university courses. Teachers can access lessons and maps from the GRMC in the University Libraries' Cardinal Scholar and find out more about using maps in the classroom from an online guide.
