Printing

The GIS Research and Map Collection (GRMC) has one black and white laser printer for small print jobs. We also have two large-format color plotters for large print jobs: a 42" HP Z6200 and a 42” HP 4500ps. Posters must be 11”x17” or larger.

Special charges apply to use the large-format color plotters, and the use of the plotters is restricted to Ball State ID holders. A full description of our policies, including charges, can be found on our Printer Guidelines handout.

Plotter Prices are as follows:

• Under 24"    $ 8.00
• 25" to 36"    $12.00
• 37” to 72’”   $16.00
• 73” to 108”  $20.00

Laminating

The GRMC has a large-format 40" laminator and a smaller 12" laminator. The cost of laminating is $3.00 per linear foot, and the use of the laminator is restricted to Ball State ID holders. There may be a 24-48 hour wait time for laminating services.

There is a $3.00 minimum charge for all lamination services.

Items must be no wider than 40".
