In-House Listening: Listening Carrels

The Music Collection audio system consists of playback equipment located behind the circulation counter, and listening carrels to the rear of the Collection.   Staff members will begin the playback of materials you select, but you are in control after that.  Instructions are located in each carrel.  This option is available to resident affiliates, Ball State alumni, and reciprocal borrowers who want to listen to Music Collection materials.  It is also used for some course reserves, and for some special non-circulating material.

We’re sorry, but recording is not possible using the carrels.   Ball State University is committed to complying with copyright laws.
