Architecture Library: The Architecture Library features collections and services that support research in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and historic preservation.
Architecture Library - Visual Resources Collection: The Visual Resources Collection supports the Architecture Images Collection, consisting of more than 67,000 digital images of architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and historic preservation subjects.
Archives and Special Collections: Archives and Special Collections offers access to primary source materials, including photographs, oral history interviews, video and film footage, maps, architectural drawings, and publications for research, class projects, instruction, and publication.

Digital Media Repository: The digital collections and activities of the University Libraries in a single Web-based environment.
Educational Resources Collections: The Educational Resources Collections contains K-12 state adopted textbooks, youth books, a variety of media materials, circulating digital equipment (such as laptops and digital cameras), and educational and recreational DVDs and videos, among many other materials.
General Collection: The General Collection includes books located on the lower level and second, third, and fourth floors of Bracken Library. Covering many subject areas in support of the Ball State curriculum, books in the General Collection are arranged based on the Library of Congress Classification scheme. Book location charts are available online and are posted on all floors of Bracken Library.
GIS Research and Map Collection: The GIS Research and Map Collection hosts a substantial collection of cartographic resources, GIS software, digital resources, and large-format printing and laminating services.
Government Publications: University Libraries is part of the Federal Depository Library system and maintains a collection of federal and state government publications covering a variety of subjects.
Microforms: Periodicals, newspapers, college catalogs, government publications, books, special reports, and census information on microfiche.
Music Collection: Musical scores and recordings including both classical and popular genres.
Periodicals: Magazines, journals, and newspapers in both print and online versions.
Reference Collection: The Reference Collection contains standard reference works in both print and online versions.
Reserves: Items placed on reserve are available for an abbreviated circulation period. Types of reserves include course reserves, three-day open reserves, and seven-day permanent reserve.
Science-Health Science Library: Providing access to science-specific research materials in fields including chemistry, physics, geology, nursing, physiology, and biology.
