African Studies
The African studies minor offers an interdisciplinary approach to the study of Africa through history, politics, anthropology, philosophy, music, economics, and geography. It enables students to acquire a broad view of the cultural richness and history of this most ancient of continents and affords an in-depth understanding of the issues and challenges Africa has endured and continues to face at the beginning of the twenty-first century.
