With our high-speed, campuswide, wireless network, no matter what classroom—or residence hall room—you’re in, you’re connected. There are also more than 200 computer labs on campus, making our student-to-computer ratio nearly 1 to 1. And our network reaches far beyond the campus. Our nationally recognized Global Media Network allows classes to interact with students and faculty from universities around the world.
But there are more than just bits and bytes at Ball State. Our motion simulation lab, state-of-the-art music technology studios, TV and radio studios, and arboretum and greenhouse rival the facilities of some of the most expensive universities in the country. There’s a 410-seat mainstage theatre where theatre and dance majors go to work and an observatory and planetarium where you can check out the stars. There’s also the David Owsley Museum of Art which hosts exhibitions of student and faculty art as well as work by major national and international artists. Whether for research or pleasure, Ball State has the facilities you need.
