1+2+1 Program

Academics

Students in the 1+2+1 program like all other international students at Ball State University must meet Ball State criteria to be admitted, must come from one of Ball State’s partner universities through the 1+2+1 consortium in China, and must fulfill the same graduation requirements like all other students in order to graduate from Ball State.

Students will follow a rigorous course of study in this program to ensure that they will meet all academic requirements for graduation from both their Chinese university and from Ball State. Departments at Ball State hosting 1+2+1 students have worked out a pre-approved academic articulation and suggested course plan for 1+2+1 students in collaboration with the student’s university in China. Each 1+2+1 student receives individualized advice on course selection from Ball State officials, faculty members, and Advising Staff.
