International Speakers Bureau

Ball State University has students from more than 73 different countries.  Many of them are willing to speak to your group or organization about their countries and/or other topics (i.e. going green, women's issues, and many more).  This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the world in which we live from a variety of perspectives.

If this is something that sounds interesting to you, please contact Deb Goens, foreign student advisor from the Rinker Center for International Programs, at 765-285-5422.

International Students Volunteers needed:

Share your culture in the International Speakers Bureau!

Are you willing to speak to American students at Ball State or Muncie community about your country or culture?  If yes, then please volunteer for the International Speakers Bureau! This is an excellent opportunity to share information about your unique culture and help inform Americans more about the world. You could have the chance to present information to a class at Ball State, speak with American students individually or even present at an event in the Muncie community! If you are interested, please complete this online form. You will receive an email from International Services when we have volunteer opportunities available.  Please contact Deb Goens if you have any questions.
