Ball State is one of more than 175 colleges and universities in the United States, its territories, and Canada that belong to a consortium called the National Student Exchange (NSE). NSE provides wonderful opportunities to experience living in a different area, studying with mentors from other universities, and enriching your academic life.
Ball State students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher may apply to attend a term or a year at any of the consortium’s member institutions. Since Ball State is a Plan B school, participating students pay Ball State tuition and fees. Room and board charges are paid to the host campus.
Students exchanging to Ball State from another institution for a term or year pay tuition and fees to their home school and room and board to Ball State.
