Financial Aid Deadlines
For information regarding billing and tuition payment due dates, visit the Bursar Web site. The most important financial aid deadline to remember each year is the March 10 deadline for the Free Application for Student Aid.
Some scholarships, however, have earlier deadlines. Here are more important dates each year:
11 - Spring Semester classes begin.
11 - Spring financial aid refunds issued to students.
17 - Last day for students to submit an application to the Honors College for the Whitinger Scholarship.
1 - Nominations due for the Harold Ellison Scholarship.
1 - Applications due for the John R. and Aline B. Emens Scholarship.
21 - College Goal Sunday takes place at various sites across Indiana. At this event, you can receive help filling out forms.
1 - Harold Ellison Scholarship application deadline.
10 - Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) priority filing deadline for the state of Indiana and Ball State University financial aid. Learn more.
TBA - Freshmen financial aid award notifications begin being mailed to students at their home address.
16 - Summer Semester classes begin.
TBA - Summer financial aid refunds issued to students.
TBA - Ball State’s financial aid award notifications are emailed to transfer students, upperclassmen, and graduate students.
TBA - Fall semester financial aid refunds will be Direct Deposited or mailed to students at their local address on file with the university.
22 - Fall Semester classes begin.
1 - Nominations accepted for John R. and Aline B. Emens Scholarship.
4 - State Minority Teacher/Special Education Teacher, and State Nursing Education Scholarship priority application deadline.
1 - Nominations accepted for Harold Ellison Scholarship.
31 - Nominations due for John R. and Aline B. Emens Scholarship.
