How You Will Be Paid

Payments for tuition, fees, housing, and dining services are due each semester by dates determined by the university bursar. You can pay your tuition, fees, and housing and dining (also known as room and board) for the semester in one payment or by use of the installment plan.

The installment plan allows you to pay tuition, fees, and housing and dining for the current semester in four installments. A $15 administrative fee will be assessed each month until the total charges have been paid in full.

Before the beginning of each semester, you will be notified by the Office of Bursar and Loan Administration through your Ball State e-mail account when your statement of account is available online. All financial aid that is complete will appear on your account summary as a credit to your bill.

Online bill payment will be available. For more information, go to www.bsu.edu/bursar. You can also pay by check or money order. Make all checks or money orders payable to Ball State. Mail payments to the Office of the Bursar, Muncie, IN 47306-0725, or take payments to the cashier's window in Lucina Hall.

Refunds Due to You
Any financial aid credit remaining after all allowable charges are paid will be refunded to you.

All financial aid refunds will be issued via direct deposit. Failure to register for direct deposit may result in a delay in the issuance of your refund. Find out more detailed information or register for direct deposit.
