We are pleased to announce that thanks to the Midwest
Student Exchange Program (MSEP), Ball State University is now offering
dramatically reduced tuition to students from eight states in the Midwest.
This arrangement allows legal residents of Illinois,
Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wisconsin
to attend Ball State University and save over $11,000 per year ($45,000 total
for a student graduating in four years) from our regular tuition rate for
out-of-state students. The MSEP award reduces the total tuition for
an out-of-state student down to 150% of the tuition cost for an Indiana
Please note that students who qualify for any of the
following scholarships are not eligible to receive both the MSEP award
and the other scholarship: Presidential Scholarship, Academic Recognition
Scholarship, or Academic Distinction Scholarship. The student will
receive the scholarship that has the greatest value. Also, since the MSEP
award is tuition specific, receipt of other tuition specific scholarships may
impact the amount of the award. This scholarship may
only be applied to institutional charges. All financial aid you receive, when combined with MSEP, cannot exceed the total cost of attendance.
For a transfer student that receives the Academic Distinction Award that needs to continue their studies beyond the eligible four semesters of the award, Ball State will provide the MSEP benefit if the student has exhausted eligibility for the Academic Distinction Award and would have originally met the MSEP criteria.
