Student Employment

One method of assisting with the cost of higher education is through student employment: either on-campus or off-campus.

A form of financial aid (based on need) that you may not have considered is Federal Work-Study. With this program, the federal government provides a portion of your wages at an on- or off-campus job. Employers seek work-study students because the cost to their student employment budget is less than for a regular student employee, although the employee's earnings are the same as those of regular student employees.

The Ball State Career Center can help you locate on-campus or off-campus work, and can also help you learn more about the benefits of Federal Work-Study.
