@ Ball State: Lives on campus in a residence hall 
Activities: Ellen is involved with a lot of activities both on and off campus. As part of the telecommunications department's TV student organizations, she is involved with Connections Live and NewsWatch. She was also a member of Ball State University Singers, and she is currently a member of the desk staff at a residence hall. Other activities that Ellen is involved with include the Pre-Law Interest Group, the Miss America Scholarship Program, and the Brain Injury Association of Ohio. She is an ambassador for the Children’s Miracle Network, a volunteer for the Dayton Children’s Hospital, and a spokesperson for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Weather Service lightning safety awareness campaign.
