Double bassist Volkan OrhonAcclaimed for his musicality and virtuosity, Volkan Orhon has established himself as one of the top double bassists in the world today. He was a finalist and prizewinner in the Concert Artists Guild Solo Competition in New York City, and was the co-first place winner of the International Society of Bassists Solo Competition. Free and open to the public.

A vocal soloist performing on stageGraduate students from the Ball State Opera Theatre program will perform selections from both operatic and contemporary repertoire in a benefit concert to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Maria. Selections range from Mozart to Gershwin. All proceeds will go directly to Living Water Community, a Catholic mission organization that seeks to help the poor and homeless in Trinidad and Tobago and throughout the Caribbean. Admission is free, but a minimum donation of $10 is suggested.
